Dr. David Williamson received his Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick in 1989, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie University in 1994. He received his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of British Columbia from 1994 – 1999. After successfully completing his Plastic Surgery Royal College exams he continued with additional advanced fellowship training at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in London, Ontario, including aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery.
In 2000 Dr. Williamson entered practice in Kelowna, British Columbia, joining the medical staff at Kelowna General Hospital. He is co-owner of the Okanagan Health Surgical Centre and Division Head of Plastic Surgery at the Kelowna General Hospital. He also provides care for interior British Columbia, covering all plastic surgery trauma as well as craniofacial surgery, hand surgery and cancer reconstruction.

Dr. Williamson offers both saline and cohesive gel implants, and the choice is made with the patient during the consultation. The focus is on the patients? expected outcomes.
