Dr. Jonathan Lee is an experienced, Canadian and New York fellowship-trained Plastic Surgeon based in Calgary. Well-established, he is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and specializes in both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.

Dr. Lee began his studies at the University of Calgary as a double major in both Science and Music Piano Performance. He then went on to study medicine at the University of Alberta, where he completed his medical degree (MD) in 2003, followed by a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (FRCSC). After residency, he received further sub-specialized hand and microvascular fellowship training in New York under many of the leading plastic surgery experts at New York University. He subsequently completed an additional fellowship from the University of Toronto in Cosmetic Surgery at the prestigious Toronto Institute of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. After fourteen years of post-secondary education, Dr. Lee opened his Calgary practice in 2009. He also holds a faculty appointment at the University of Calgary and is Site Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Peter Lougheed Centre Hospital.

A large majority of Dr. Lee’s cosmetic practice consists of patients seeking breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and facial aesthetic surgery. Dr. Lee is also highly experienced in the field of minimally invasive non-surgical techniques, including Botox®/Dysport® and facial fillers. He is frequently invited both locally and nationally to instruct nurses, physicians, and specialists on advanced injection techniques.
