Dr. Louis Boileau is a cosmetic surgeon who brings over 25 years of clinical experience to The Landings Surgical Centre. Upon graduating with a Medical Degree from the University of Alberta, he completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the University of British Columbia. He then traveled to Switzerland, where he trained in cosmetic surgery at one of the few key clinics involved in the study and introduction of liposuction to the medical community. Since then he has been a key contributor to the advancement of the science and art of cosmetic surgery, expert in all facets of this surgery.
Dr. Louis Boileau then opened his own plastic & reconstructive surgery practice in Prince George, British Columbia. He was instrumental in establishing the first private surgical facility in the province’s central interior and also served as a consultant surgeon at the False Creek Surgical Centre in Vancouver.
In 2004, Dr. Louis Boileau moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he now offers his wide breadth of surgical expertise to clients at The Landings Surgical Centre (the first free standing private surgical facility in Atlantic Canada). Licensed in Nova Scotia and board-certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Louis Boileau is dedicated to furthering education and expertise in the practice of plastic surgery. He has published many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters dealing with various aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery.
