Dr. Bendor-Samuel is a Plastic Surgeon that specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery. He has practiced cosmetic plastic surgery for over 20 years. He is very well respected in his field and has been listed in Flare magazine as one of the top ten cosmetic surgeons in Canada. Dr. Bendor-Samuel is a Royal College board certified plastic surgeon who performs over 150 breast augmentation procedures each year, more than any other surgeon in the Maritime provinces. He was recently featured on the front cover of Lifestyles Magazine, Halifax. He is a member of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is past president of the Atlantic Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Bendor-Samuel will take the time to personally explain the various types of breast surgery to you. He will help you to determine the correct size as well as the correct procedure for you. The options might include, breast augmentation, breast lifting, or a combination of both. Everyone is unique and Dr. Bendor-Samuel will take the time help you decide which procedure and/or implant suits you best. He offers alternatives such as round and teardrop shaped implants and has extensive experience with both.

Dr. Bendor-Samuel is the director and co-founder of the Landing's Surgical Centre which he established to provide private plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery services to the public. It is a state of the art facility, located on the Halifax waterfront. The Landings is fully accredited, therefore it is subject to rigorous inspections that examine surgical outcomes, safety procedures, record-keeping and a variety of other issues similar to standards expected in hospitals.

Dr. Bendor-Samuel is an Assistant Professor in the department of Surgery at Dalhousie University where he teaches plastic surgery students during his time away from The Landings. He has taught alongside surgeons from around the world and provides expertise in the field of cosmetic surgery. He has published numerous articles and he has spoken at many national and international scientific meetings.

Dr. Bendor-Samuel is an active staff member in both the Capital Health District and IWK Grace Health Districts. He is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery, the Canadian Society for Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery and Doctors Nova Scotia. He is the past president of the Atlantic Society of Plastic Surgeons.
