Dear Anon,
It sounds as if you have a fairly complex problem
and it would be difficult to provide any exact advice
without seeing you personally. Having significant breast asymmetry
with one breast being tuberous
is actually more common than you may think. How we would correct
this at this stage depends a lot
on the size of the opposite breast. One possible consideration would
be to perform a reduction and
lift of your opposite breast and try to deal with the left side
through an open capsulotomy and implant
replacement. This may very well help to improve your overall symmetry
in terms of both size and
shape. With respect to OHIP coverage, this is not black and white.
It often depends on the degree of
asymmetry. I can tell you however that correcting a contracted breast
implant is something that is
presently covered by OHIP.
